Job Title: Junior Bookkeeper Company: Bespoke Lighting Services Company Location: Remote South Africa Reports To: Finance Manager Budget: Up to R25,000 per month depending on experience Hours: 8am-4pm Pacific Time Zone We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Bookkeeper to join our growing bespoke lighting services business. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in finance and accounting who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a creative, project-driven environment. The successful candidate will support day-to-day financial operations, with a focus on budgeting, invoicing, quoting, and general financial administration. Key Tasks and Duties: Invoicing & Accounts Receivable Prepare and issue accurate client invoices based on project milestones and completed work Track incoming payments and follow up on outstanding accounts Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies Quoting & Costing Support Assist in preparing detailed client quotations in collaboration with project and sales teams Ensure all cost elements (materials, labour, logistics) are accurately captured Maintain and update pricing templates and cost databases Budgeting & Financial Tracking Support the preparation and monitoring of project budgets Track actual costs against estimates and highlight variances Assist with monthly financial reporting and budget reviews Accounts Payable Capture supplier invoices and ensure timely payments Reconcile supplier statements and resolve quer...
