NEW Security Officer Positions Hiring Now Job Location: Phoenix & multiple locations, Arizona – Interviews conducted this week! Specific Duties and Essential Functions Assess and report irregular or unusual conditions that may escalate to security concerns or safety hazards.Deter criminal activity and misconduct by informing violators of rule infractions (i.e., loitering, smoking, and/or carrying forbidden articles).Clear communication with clients, the public, and law enforcement in a polite and courteous manner.Monitor entry of authorized persons to enter a property, including entrances and exits.Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities with legible handwriting and speech.Perform unarmed and armed (depending on final assignment) security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.Assist clients, authorized employees, visitors, and appropriate law enforcement courteously and professionally.Assignment Expectations This is a As Needed position 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, School Hours, Weekends, Summer. Relocation is not required; Shifts could be irregular (i.e., 1st-3rd; swing shifts), in the event of covering for another employee absence or unforeseen loss of shift coverage. Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods (i.e., 90% of shift).Able to drive and conduct vehicle patrols if assigned.Able to work in various environments and temperatures (i.e., rain/snow; extreme heat/cold weather), indoors/outdoors.Able to occasionally lift/carry up to 40 pounds.If necessary, climb stairs, ramps, or ladders during shift.Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods.Day shift/ Night ShiftsHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation, Licenses, and Certifications Required Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age depending on final assignment.Valid AZ Guard Card* (*AZ Guard Card training available at our facility to obtain).Must be a U.S. citizen, or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentMust complete any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.You must complete mandatory company training.Must have reliable transportationMust have excellent customer serviceMust have effective communication skillsMust be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Must speak, read, and write fluently in EnglishMust have a professional appearance and attitudeIf prior military, upon job offer, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated.Additional Information/Benefits Additional Information / Benefits Competitive pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour depending on which role is assigned!
