As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.42 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations observed during patrol activities.Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and communicating professionally with clients, employees, visitors, and/or first responders as needed. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.A guard card and/or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only. What You'll Do
