POSITION INFO: Divisional Operations Manager (FMCG) - Pretoria - Salary R 28,000 to R 38,000 Basic + Car Allowance, Cell Allowance Are you a seasoned operations professional with a deep footprint in the FMCG, retail, and wholesale sectors? We are urgently seeking a high-performing Divisional Operations Manager (DOM) to drive operational excellence and lead large-scale teams in a fast-paced environment. The Role Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, you will manage all operational activities for the division’s syndicated sales and merchandising services. Your primary focus will be optimizing product availability, driving efficiency, and supporting the company’s growth and profitability objectives. Key Responsibilities Operational Planning: Develop and execute sales and merchandising plans aligned with business KPIs and budgetary constraints.Sales & Merchandising Excellence: Oversee inventory management, supply chain coordination, and the implementation of promotional plans to boost in-store visibility.Stakeholder Management: Nurture relationships with key clients and divisional/regional managers to resolve issues and identify market trends.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop large teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and driving high levels of employee engagement.Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics to monitor competitive activities, adjust operational plans, and improve service delivery. Requirements Education: Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or an equivalent qualification.Experience: * Minimum 5 years of operations management experience within the FMCG sector.At least 3 years in a middle management role.Proven track record of managing large teams and working with retail/wholesale partners.Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics platforms.Competencies: Strong leadership, financial acumen, advanced problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
