The Barclaycard Avios Plus earns 1.5 Avios per pound spent with accelerated rates at BA. The included lounge access and travel insurance add tangible value for regular travellers.
The monthly fee is significant, so you need sufficient spend to justify it. For heavy spenders who fly BA regularly, the maths works out well.
