As an entry-level field technician/general laborer for Cornerstone Construction Group's Facility Management division, you’ll be at the forefront of exciting projects, providing essential support to our field operations team. Please Note: This is a traveling position that requires both daytime (20%) and nighttime (80%) work hours. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Field Operations Support Assist crew leaders with commercial maintenance and repair projects in active facilities.Perform demolition, material removal, and site preparation.Support drywall patching, painting, ceiling tile replacement, light carpentry, fixture replacement, and minor plumbing/electrical fixture swaps.Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment.Set up and break down ladders, scaffolding, and work zones.Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free job sites. Safety & Compliance Follow OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.Properly use hand tools, power tools, and equipment.Identify and report safety concerns to your crew leader.Adhere to company policies, travel procedures, and operational standards. Professional Conduct Follow written and verbal instructions from your crew leader.Communicate clearly regarding task completion and jobsite needs.Conduct work in a professional manner when interacting with customers and facility personnel.Represent Cornerstone Construction Group with integrity and professionalism. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Basic working knowledge of construction tools, materials, and repair techniques.Understanding of jobsite safety practices.Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening.Availability for consistent overnight shifts.Willingness and ability to travel regionally on a weekly basis.Reliable transportation to/from our home office in Rochester, MI.
