Role Description This is a contract-based Cloud Engineer - GCP role with Deltaclass Technology Solutions Limited. As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Core responsibilities include maintaining cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability and security. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored cloud solutions for client projects. This is a hybrid role based in Leeds, with flexibility for some remote work. Qualifications Proficiency in Software Development, including knowledge of programming languages. Experience with Infrastructure management and Cloud Computing, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong expertise in Linux system administration and working with Databases. Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Relevant certifications in GCP or cloud technologies are highly desirable. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus. Prior experience with hybrid work environments is advantageous.
