Description Role and Responsibilities To be a Second-Officer and Assist CHS in internal and external security matters of the Plant Oversee the people s movement in out of the plant to include labor colonyEtc To design and develop security culture for smooth operations of gate at all times Identify risks in current security system and design controls to plug them To train security team on gate control system and emergency response and day to day SOC activities To investigate the security breaches and submit the report to the management To design job descriptions for each security personal deployed at the plant To design military and on the job training syllabus for Security Officers Guards and Supervisors To build high performance security team To design performance measuring system for security team Ensure timely supply and maintenance storage of security equipment s To assess suitability of each candidate for security role To carry out plant rounds and assess activities having potential to cause loss to the company and to interact with Plant Heads and HODs to address their concerns about security To ensure proper perimeter controls of all Plants Controlling vehicles movement and regularize the traffic Collecting Local Intelligence and passing the same to management in view of Business Prospective Developing community relations with Locals Liaison with Law-Enforcement Agencies and District Administration SHO SDOP etc Regularize the Plant Traffic Conducting surprise checks Night Vigilance Mock Drills Etc Qualifications and Education Requirements Inspector JCO from the Armed forces Equal rank from CPO s Police post graduate from any recognized university Experience 15-20 Yrs Inspectors from CPO s Subedar WO will be given preference willing to stay inside the plant Age limit 30-45 Medical Category Shape-1 Computer literate Positive writing Skills Hindi English Flexible working hours Should be Task Master Preferred Skill Steel and Power plant security Manager-Security Vigilance Plant security Training Liaison
