A growing organisation in Bloemfontein, Free State is seeking a HR Manager to manage the full spectrum of HR functions. You will handle recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and labour legislation compliance. The successful candidate will shape company culture and support business objectives through effective people management. Responsibilities Provide advice to line managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation for fair application. Support organisational change initiatives including restructuring, succession planning, and culture transformation programmes. Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary hearings, grievances, incapacity processes, and performance improvement. Process monthly payroll accurately and timeously, ensuring all earnings, deductions, and statutory contributions are correct. Coordinate onboarding and induction of new employees, ensuring documentation is complete and integration is smooth. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including advertising, screening, interviews, reference checks, and employment offers. Coordinate training and development activities including identifying needs, sourcing providers, and evaluating effectiveness. Requirements For recruitment roles, proven ability to source candidates using various methods and experience with applicant tracking systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative HR team. Thorough knowledge of South African labour legislation including the LRA, BCEA, and Employment Equity Act. A minimum of two to five years of progressive experience in a generalist or specialist HR role within an organisation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Qualifications National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management
