Security Officer (Construction Sites) – Edinburgh & Lothians JSL Services Ltd JSL Services Ltd is expanding and we’re looking for professional, reliable Security Officers to join our team across a range of construction sites in Edinburgh and the Lothians. About the Role As a Security Officer, you’ll play a key role in protecting our client sites, ensuring safety, and maintaining a strong security presence. Your responsibilities will include: Controlling access to site in line with assignment instructions Carrying out regular patrols to maintain site security Completing logbooks, reports, and required documentation Communicating effectively with the control room Interacting professionally with site staff, clients, and the public Responding to incidents and maintaining a visible deterrent presence What we’re looking for Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision – essential) Strong communication and reliability Flexible approach to working hours and sites Previous security experience (preferred but not essential) UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (beneficial but not essential) Screening Requirements All roles are subject to BS7858 screening standards.
