Job Summary The Facilitator is responsible for delivering training, mentoring, and support to adult learners in the fuel retail space participating in Small Business Owner/Manager (Operations) programme. The role focuses on building entrepreneurial, operational, financial, and leadership skills to help participants improve business performance, sustainability, and growth. The Facilitator guides learners through workshops, practical activities, coaching sessions, and pre-assessments while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Training & Facilitation Deliver structured training sessions. Adapt training methods to suit different learning styles and business backgrounds. Encourage participation, collaboration, and practical problem-solving. Mentoring & Coaching Provide mentorship and guidance to participants on business-related operations. Support learners in formative assessments, summative assessments and practical exposure. Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback. Assist participants in applying learning directly to their workplace. Assessment & Evaluation Pre-assess learner Portfolio of Evidence (POE) and ensure all requirements are complete. Track attendance, and participation. Prepare reports on learner progress. Identify learners requiring additional support. Program Administration Prepare training materials, presentations, and learning resources. Maintain accurate records of attendance. Ensure compliance with training standards and organizational policies. Coordinate with project manager and stakeholders where required. Required Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Business Management, Entrepreneurship or any other related qualification. Assessor/moderator registration certification with Wholesale and Retail SETA or any other related SETA. Pay: From R1 150,00 per day Experience: facilitation: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: assessor registration certificate with any SETA (Required) Work Location: In person
