Job Summary We are currently looking for a Warehouse Material Handler to join our Distribution Center team. As a part of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Bulk Operation department by providing production and quality assistance. Your main responsibilities will include processing damages, organizing pick slots, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Key Responsibilities Bulk Operations Support: Process damaged merchandise and return stray cases to correct pick slots to assist Order Fillers in maintaining high quality standards. Equipment Operation: Safely operate P.I.T. (Power Industrial Truck) equipment. Conduct daily safety checklists and report any defects to maintenance or management. Workflow Efficiency: Breakdown master cases and flip cases to ensure barcodes are properly displayed for sorter efficiency. Housekeeping: Maintain an organized work area and perform consistent cleaning duties to ensure the next shift can begin with minimal downtime. Safety & Compliance: Follow all company safety procedures, use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and promote a safe working environment within the Bulk department. Qualifications & Skills Experience: No prior experience or formal education required – we offer on-the-job training. Physical Capability: Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 80 lbs occasionally. Must be comfortable with tasks that involve walking, standing, bending, and kneeling throughout the shift. Reliability: Must be dependable, consistent, and willing to work extra hours on weekends and holidays as necessary. Communication: Proficient in communicating with colleagues and the management team. Working Conditions Environment: Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. Building temperatures are affected by outside weather conditions (fans and heaters are utilized). Atmosphere: May involve working in restricted spaces or exposure to airborne particles as regulated by OSHA.
