1st shift 5am-1:30pm Mon-Fri Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift/Crane Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to ensure efficient materials handling within the stamping department. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and mechanical knowledge to facilitate the loading and unloading of goods. Duties Operate sitdown forklifts and overhead crane to move material within the stamping department. Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues. Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency in materials handling. Qualifications Proven experience in production manufacturing or similar environments is preferred. Bilingual a plus but not required Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes and best practices in materials handling. A valid forklift certification is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
