JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Penn State Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center is hiring Part-time Financial Literacy Student Ambassadors at the University Park campus. Our mission is to provide students with knowledge and skills to manage financial resources effectively for a lifetime of financial well-being. This position will focus on giving presentations and hosting workshops to increase the level of financial literacy of the student population, as well as play a pivotal role in assisting students in building strong financial behaviors. Other responsibilities will include completing a comprehensive training plan, outreach within the student body, and peer mentoring on a one-on-one basis. The individual will also play a role in the operations of the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center. If you are an undergraduate student and can commit to consistently working up to 20 hours per week and desire a part-time position and/or have been awarded Federal Work-Study according to your Financial Aid report for the academic year, then you are encouraged to apply for a position as a Financial Literacy Ambassador. Individuals from a variety of majors, are welcomed and encouraged to apply. This individual will be trained, supervised, and supported by the Penn State Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center staff at University Park.
