Role and Responsibilities:
As an Last Mile Delivery Professional, you will manage daily delivery routes, ensuring packages are transported and delivered efficiently and securely. You will contribute to operational success by keeping precise records, communicating clearly with dispatch and customers, and providing a positive delivery experience that represents the Amazon Prime brand.
Load packages into vehicles and deliver them along assigned routes while following safety procedures and driving regulations.Complete deliveries accurately and confirm package details to ensure correct fulfillment.Maintain well-organized and accurate delivery logs and documentation.Collaborate with dispatch teams and communicate with customers to resolve questions or delivery issues.Follow company safety policies, traffic rules, and delivery procedures at all times.Adjust delivery routes, schedules, and priorities according to operational requirements.Provide professional, courteous, and dependable service during each delivery interaction.Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure proper maintenance and operational readiness.Required Skills and Experience:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Experience in delivery, transportation, or logistics preferred.Ability to safely lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds.Strong organizational and time management skills for managing daily delivery routes effectively.Comfortable using GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications.Clear communication and effective problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with route planning or delivery optimization tools.Knowledge of warehouse operations and package handling processes.Customer service experience in fast-paced or high-volume settings.Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.Compensation and Benefits:
