This position will start on a Monday-Friday day shift schedule and transition to a 12 hour 2-2-3 or an 8 hour (1st, 2nd. or 3rd) shift schedule. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet critical deadlines. Seeking a motivated Production Operator to join our team. Responsible for the operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting of equipment in production and packaging areas of the factory. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: 401k with company match Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave Insurance eligibility begins on 31st day of employment 11 paid holidays Hourly pay rate of $26.50 WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH: Operate, clean, and inspect equipment Complete effective and efficient changeovers Ensure Regulatory Compliance and adhere to the quality standards outlined in the HACCP plan, QMS and other quality SOPs Pull product samples as required and perform quality inspections on the product and packaging. Perform the sanitation of the equipment and area (includes disassembly and assembly of equipment) Work with peers to make recommendations on how to improve the operation to optimize production with positive contribution to all key plant indicators safety, quality, cost, and service Perform daily, routine safety inspection of material handling equipment Execute Preventative Maintenance and inspections on equipment REQUIREMENTS: High school Diploma or GED preferred 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred SKILLS: Ability and willingness to operate and support a positive Nestle culture and follow established values Ability to train others Proactive individuals that takes responsibility for their equipment, line, coworkers, and the continuous improvement of the operation Able to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability is expected Detail oriented individual who accurately records information Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks The approximate pay for this position is $26.50.
