Forklift Operator Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years Forklift Operation experience in a warehouseKnowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.Employee must be able to work with a rotating shift (day/night) and a flexible or rotating schedule which may require over-time when needed.Employee must be able to respond to call outs when required.The ability and desire to work safelyThe ability to work night shift or day shiftMust be able to work weekend when required.Responsibilities: Maintain transfer and production operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.Verifies all loading and unloading of material for assurance.Assists Inventory Control for verification of counts and materialRoutes trucks to loading and unloading destinations within the yardComplete loading and unloading documentation when required.The employee is responsible for the racking of material per instruction.Communicating to Supervisor any problems with material, racks, or trucks.Assisting at processing inbound and outbound racks when needed.Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.Prepare product for shipping.Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designatedTransfer cement Super Sacks from warehouse to hoppers without tearing the bag or straps.
