We are currently seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer to join our team in Milford, CT. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong situational awareness, and excellent judgment while carrying out assigned security duties. Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity Communicate effectively with management, clients, and local law enforcement when necessary Enforce company and client policies in a professional manner High school diploma or GED equivalent 18 years of age or olderValid Connecticut Security Guard LicenseValid Connecticut Armed Security Permit (Blue Card)Prior armed security, military, or law enforcement experience preferredFull-time, part-time, and floater shifts available First Shift, Second Shift and Third Shift available Overtime is always available Evening, overnight, and weekend availability may be required depending on assignment Ongoing training and support Good working knowledge of Security Operations. Ability to provide a high level of Customer Service. Be computer proficient Read, understand, and clearly speak English; Ability to work in various environments, including but not limited to adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, and heat.
