Lexus of Lehigh Valley is a high-performance Lexus dealership committed to operational discipline, guest experience, and data-driven decision-making. We are seeking an experienced Used Car Manager to lead and execute the day-to-day operations of our pre-owned department. This role owns the full used-vehicle lifecycle; acquisition, appraisal, recon, pricing, merchandising, retailing, and wholesale decisions, with a strong focus on inventory turn, recon speed, and market-based pricing. Qualifications Prior experience as a Used Car Manager, Inventory Director, or equivalent leadership roleStrong understanding of ACVs, market-based pricing, recon management, and inventory turnProven ability to manage inventory with 10–25 day turn targetsData-driven mindset with working knowledge of VDP/SRP performance and lead analyticsStrong communication, organization, and follow-through skillsCapable of working collaboratively with New Car Sales and Fixed Operations to align inventory, recon flow, and sales strategyDemonstrated experience in acquiring used vehicles through trades, service-drive sourcing, and direct purchase strategies Responsibilities Own used vehicle acquisition through trades, service-drive sourcing, and on-site appraisalsExecute daily service-lane walks, identify high-opportunity VINs, and perform same-day appraisalsCollaborate daily with New Car Sales and Fixed Operations to align acquisition, recon flow, and retail strategyConduct disciplined appraisals, including walk-arounds, CARFAX review, recon estimates, and market validationManage inventory from intake through retail or wholesale exit with a mandatory turn plan starting Day 1Enforce a 0–3 day recon cycle and escalate delays exceeding 48 hoursPrice all frontline vehicles within 24 hours and adjust pricing based on local market data and SRP/VDP activityLead daily inventory and performance reviews with Sales Management and the GMTrack and report acquisition performance, turn rate, aging, recon accuracy, and wholesale exposureDeliver monthly performance reporting to GM, CFO, and COO Compensation: Annual Compensation Range $180,000 Full-Time Benefits (Upon Eligibility) Paid Time Off (PTO)Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceCar Lease Subsidy401(k)
