Warehouse Worker – Parts

Summary: The Warehouse Worker – Parts position will perform inbound activities related to the receipt and storage of goods and outbound activities related to order-filling and stock replenishment. The Warehouse Worker – Parts position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate stock levels, receiving incoming shipments, organizing parts, and fulfilling orders for customers or other departments within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Utilize UPS, FedEx, USPS and other freight carriers’ software to quote shipments and print shipping labels. Receive and check incoming pick tickets. Picking orders as requested by management. Locate products in the warehouse. Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy. Build boxes or pallets with orders and position them to loading docks. Placing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping. Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area. Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment. Keep records of completed orders. Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions. Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards. Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized. Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages. Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area. Loading and unloading trucks by using totes, jacks and forklifts. Assisting in maintaining security of warehouse. Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. 1+ years work experience in a similar role. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse range of people. Proficient with using tools required for this position. Physically agile and dexterous. Proficient organizational skills. Ability to operate a stand-up forklift and a stand-up reach forklift. Ability to lift 80lbs at a time and stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Requirements

Packing orders for shipment. Must be able to operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift. Forklift certified. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift/carry 80+ lbs. Ability to pass a full background check. Must be punctual. Compensation and Benefits:
