General Chef

Overview

Paik’s Noodle Bellevue is looking for a skilled, hardworking, and team-oriented General Chef to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone with prior restaurant kitchen experience and strong wok cooking skills who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and executing authentic Korean noodle dishes while maintaining consistency, speed, and quality throughout service. We value individuals who take pride in their craft, stay organized under pressure, and contribute positively to the team.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant kitchen or cooking experience required Wok cooking experience strongly preferred Experience with high-heat stir-fry or Asian cuisine is a plus Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently during busy service hours Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to provide required employment documentation Korean cuisine experience preferred but not required — training provided

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to Paik’s Noodle standards Execute orders accurately and efficiently during peak hours Maintain proper portioning, seasoning, and presentation Monitor food quality and communicate inventory concerns to management Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Keep kitchen stations clean, stocked, and organized throughout shifts
