Relocation Assistance: Yes Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and disciplined Executive Chef to lead the culinary program for a new, elevated Middle Eastern concept opening in San Francisco. This role requires a chef who can successfully balance refined culinary execution with high-volume operations, while building a strong kitchen culture and operational infrastructure from the ground up.
The ideal candidate is a systems-driven leader with a strong foundation in structured restaurant groups, capable of delivering consistent, high-quality cuisine in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile Background in well-regarded, operationally structured restaurant groups known for strong culinary and service standardsExperience leading kitchens with meaningful volume, beyond purely tasting menu environmentsProven ability to oversee food cost, labor management, purchasing, and inventory systemsStrong experience building and maintaining SOPs, kitchen systems, and operational frameworksDemonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development, accountability, and culture building Culinary Focus Experience with Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine is highly valued but not required. Candidates without direct experience should demonstrate a genuine, informed interest in the cuisine, including an understanding of its ingredients, techniques, and cultural context.
