Entry-Level Manufacturing Laborer

We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Sand Plant Laborer to join our production team. This position plays a key role in supporting sand processing operations, ensuring materials are handled efficiently, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Key Responsibilities Plant Maintenance & Housekeeping: Clean up spillage around conveyors, feeders, and screening plants to maintain safe and organized work areas. Material Handling: Load and unload sand, gravel, and stone; manage stockpiles; assist in production and material flow. Equipment Operations & Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance such as greasing conveyors, replacing screens, and operating light equipment (e.g., forklifts, loaders, or sweepers). Safety Compliance: Use required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots) and follow all OSHA/MSHA safety regulations. Quality Control: Monitor material quality, identify defects, and report equipment issues promptly. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk on uneven ground, and climb stairs or ladders. Work is primarily outdoors with exposure to varying weather, noise, dust, and vibrations. Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding, industrial environment. Qualifications Previous experience in construction, mining, or aggregate operations preferred but not required—training provided. Strong work ethic and attention to safety standards. Ability to work well with a team and follow supervisor instructions.
