Female Physical Security Specialist

We are seeking a candidate with strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as a professional and presentable demeanor suitable for the security industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Shall be responsible for managing daily security operations of his/her Area of Responsibility (AOR). This shall include coordination with other departments/team, regular check of security equipment installed in the cluster, managing vendor activities, supervising VIP visits etc. Shall supervise Access Control Team/Desk for individuals working inside the cluster. Shall also look after the vendor/contractor entry/exit process and ensure no process violation which include permit to work issuance, adherence to safety guidelines etc. Shall supervise all the Security Guards in his AOR. Shall conduct daily briefing to all Security Guards (At the time of Shift change). Shall conduct Weekly Training (As per Calendar Schedule). Shall keep Security Control Room (SCR) posted with recent events/VIP visits/incidents etc. which are expected to take place in his/her cluster. Shall also seek necessary support required from security team to successfully complete the task. Coordinate with building management team regarding building and campus security vulnerability, operations, and issues. Coordinate with other department i.e., CRES, Transport and Engineering in the effective delivery of security. Maintain the daily occurrence register and note down all the incidents and the actions initiated. Critical pending tasks if any must be updated to the Security Control Room (SCR). Support Site Risk Assessment (SRA) work, audits, and security investigations, if any. SS shall also be prepared for security audit as and when required and informed by management.

Physical Security System (PPS):

Shall be accountable for all security equipment installed in his/her AOR. Shall work towards identifying scope of improvements in Physical Protection System (PPS) and carry out necessary changes after due approvals from concerned authorities. Daily checks of all access control doors/flap barriers and maintain. Shall also upkeep the PPS maintenance/PPM records and coordinate with concerned vendor for timely rectification of the faulty security equipment/s. Report ACS faults to the maintenance vendor, SCR, raise ticker and follow up until unit is repaired. Proactively recommends ways to enhance the CCTV surveillance coverage into vulnerable areas. Conduct daily checks of the CCTV for working status and fault needs to be informed to the SCR. Create and manage the daily CCTV serviceability report. Daily checks of all CCTVs cameras in his shift and update the records. During silent hours, all entry and exit doors and critical rooms CCTVs to be checked and records to be maintained in DOB. Support SPOC, RSM and SCR in conducting investigation by providing CCTV recording. Secure, manage and maintain security equipment e.g., Grab Bag contents, radios, PPEs Manage and maintain the Daily Radio Communication Check reports. Manage the radio equipment issue process. Monitor shift radio set communication and respond on behalf of the SCR in Handling of any incidents. Report faults to the SPOC and service provider. Ensure grab bag contains all the items as per the list approved and are in usable condition Bollard Testing, shutter Lockdown drills, Lift Grounding activity, Boom Barrier Testing will be carried out on Weekly basis.

Managing Security Documents:

Keep all security documents up to date and ready for audits i.e. Post Orders and ensure they are aligned with the ground operations.

Incident Management

Take control of issues and incidents and manage them in accordance with training. Analyze the situation and make the right decision as per guidance from management. Create and deliver verbal briefs in English including PA Announcements. Manage the incident and take appropriate call as per the incident management response. Deliver timely updates to be shared with SPOC, & Internal verticals on development on incident management at the site. Provide all updates and support to law enforcement agencies on arrival as and when required.

Create/maintain Reports & Returns: (Daily/Weekly/Monthly Eligibility Criteria

Must have strong English communication skills (both written and verbal) Should be able to handle emails and speak confidently without hesitation Must be presentable and professional Must hold black belt in karate
