Expert Review

Embark is actively seeking a bilingual Business Development Coordinator to join their remote team. This position focuses on booking appointments for internal sales representatives, requiring strong communication skills in both French and English. The hourly pay of $21.00, plus bonuses, is competitive for entry-level roles in telemarketing.

This role involves making outbound calls to potential clients using a company script. Candidates must be adept at identifying client needs and tailoring pitches accordingly. While the flexible remote work aspect is a significant perk, the job's success heavily relies on the ability to book appointments, which can be pressure-filled.

Our team found that while the pay is decent, the telemarketing nature of the job may not appeal to everyone. Those without a knack for sales or who dislike phone work might want to consider other options. Still, for those who thrive in a dynamic, client-focused role, this could be a fulfilling position.
