The CSU Chancellor's Office offers a premium benefit package that includes outstanding vacation, health, and dental plans; a fee waiver education program; membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (PERS); and 15 paid holidays a year. *Salary** The anticipated salary hiring range is up to $100,008 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience. *Work Arrangements*Flexibility to telecommute two days a week, with three days on-site at the main headquarters in Long Beach, California.*Premium Benefits** Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits Generous vacation plan 15 paid holidays a year Tuition waiver education program (also applies to eligible family members) Membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) More details here: Comprehensive Benefits Package *Classification** Administrator I *Position Information** The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Organizational Development Manager to be responsible for various organization development activities, including oversight of CPDC’s Facilities Management Institute (FMI), management of FMI’s learning management system library, development of systemwide professional development programs, planning and execution of systemwide conferences, forums and other events, and support of CPDC’s culture through team building activities. The position will also be responsible for a variety special projects and development of strategic communications such as staff meeting presentations, as well as HR-related activities including recruiting and oversight of the annual evaluation process. *Responsibilities** Under the general direction of the Director of Administration, the Organizational Development Manager will perform duties as outlined below: Oversight of Facilities Management Institute training program: Manage and coordinate with CPDC Units to schedule trainings with a regular cadence.Manage and coordinate with CPDC Units to ensure content is developed by Units in a timely manner with format consistency across Units.Oversee and support a strategy to ensure CSU’s learning management system supports FMI offerings.Set up a tiered certification program for campus personnel, based on FMI offerings.Develop and execute a communication strategy for FMI. Manage CPDC onboarding and performance management workflows and serve as back up for recruiting processes: Serve as back up to manage paperwork for recruitments, ETF changes, performance evaluations, etc.Serve as back up interface with HR to ensure recruiting and other processes stay on track.Plan and execute systemwide programs Determine campus personnel development needs and develop programs accordingly.Develop and support certificate programs such as Campus Deputy Building Officials and Construction Manager programs. Plan and execute the CSU Facilities Management Conference, forums, and other CPDC-sponsored events: Support planning of theme, agenda, speaker selection, location, entertainment, registration and other IT-related processes and logistics.Support Steering Committee meetings.Manage and lead a team of CPDC employees to support day-of administrative activities.Collect and analyze attendee feedback and document process improvements for future events.Lead sponsorship activities. Plan and execute CPDC teambuilding activities: Plan and execute CPDC events and celebrations.Take actions to ensure all CPDC team members feel included.
