Job Title: Construction Laborer Job Description Join a dynamic team as an Entry-Level Finishing Carpenter for a large renovation project at the Suncom Building in Sunbury, PA. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a reputable regional contractor and the potential for a long-term career following a successful contract period. Responsibilities • Assist with the installation of interior finish components such as trim, baseboard, casing, and molding. • Install doors, frames, and hardware. • Work on cabinetry, shelving, and built-ins. • Contribute to wall and ceiling finishes as directed. • Measure, cut, and prepare materials under senior carpenters' guidance. • Support general renovation tasks including light framing or backing, punch-list completion, and jobsite cleanup and material handling. • Ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications. • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. • Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and fellow crew members. Essential Skills • Must have carpentry or construction labor experience. • Possession of own tools. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Experience in commercial construction. • Proficiency with power tools and installation tasks. • Ability to perform trim work and general labor. • Experience in new construction. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunbury, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
