HR & Labour Relations Operations Lead

Introduction A fast-growing transport and labour outsourcing business is seeking a hands-on HR & Labour Relations Operations Lead to manage workforce operations across multiple sites. This role is suited to an experienced professional with a strong labour broking background and a proven track record handling NBCRFLI and CCMA matters, from conciliation through to arbitration. You will play a key role in aligning HR compliance with operational delivery in a high-pressure logistics environment. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee full HR and workforce operations across multiple client sites Manage end-to-end labour relations processes, including: Disciplinary hearings Misconduct investigations CCMA cases (conciliation & arbitration) NBCRFLI disputes and compliance Lead recruitment and placement of staff members Ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal policies Manage onboarding, contracts, and employee documentation Coordinate payroll inputs, leave management, and benefits administration Build and maintain strong client relationships Align workforce planning with operational requirements Monitor HR KPIs and produce management reports Support cross-border workforce compliance where applicable Desired Experience & Qualification Degree or Diploma in HR, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology, or similar Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR / workforce management Minimum 3 years’ experience in transport, logistics, or labour broking environment Proven experience representing employers at: CCMA (conciliation & arbitration) NBCRFLI Strong working knowledge of South African,Zimbabwean,Zambian labour legislation Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel Advantageous Experience Formal training or certification in Labour Relations / IR Experience within labour outsourcing / TES environment Exposure to cross-border operations (SADC region) Knowledge of fleet compliance and driver management Technical Skills Workforce planning and operational staffing Driver recruitment and compliance management HR reporting and KPI tracking Payroll coordination processes Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel advantageous) Package & Remuneration R 35 000 - R 55 000

Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR / workforce management
Minimum 3 years’ experience in transport, logistics, or labour broking environment
Proven experience representing employers at: CCMA (conciliation & arbitration) NBCRFLI
Strong working knowledge of South African,Zimbabwean,Zambian labour legislation
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Advantageous Experience
