Sales Consultant – TAMS Micro Loans & Credit Repair Company: Shared Mobility Africa Job Type: Full-time Work Location: Field-based / In person Department: Sales / Business Development Job Summary Shared Mobility Africa is looking for a confident, energetic, and target-driven Sales Consultant to promote and sell TAMS Micro Loans and Credit Repair services. TAMS Micro Loans provides responsible financial solutions designed to assist taxi operators with access to working capital for vehicle repairs, tyre replacement, engine repairs, permit renewals, insurance excess, fuel support, and routine maintenance. The Credit Repair service assists clients with improving their credit profiles through assessment, advisory support, credit clearance, judgement removal, administration removal, debt review removal, default removal, and settlement negotiation support. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, visiting taxi associations and operators, explaining financial solutions, assisting clients with applications, and closing new business. This role is ideal for a strong field salesperson who can build trust, educate clients, and sell financial solutions responsibly. Responsibilities Generate new leads for TAMS Micro Loans and Credit Repair services. Visit taxi associations, taxi ranks, taxi operators, and potential clients. Conduct product presentations and client education sessions. Explain loan benefits, repayment options, affordability, and application requirements. Promote responsible financial solutions to taxi operators and association members. Assist clients with the loan and credit repair application process. Help clients understand required documents such as FICA documents, association membership details, bank statements, and application forms. Follow up with prospects until applications are completed. Build strong relationships with taxi association executives, committees, operators, and stakeholders. Maintain accurate sales records and activity reports. Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets. Support field activations, campaigns, association office promotions, and sales initiatives. Provide market feedback to management. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct at all times. Requirements Matric / Grade 12. Minimum 2-5 years’ sales experience. Experience in financial services, micro-lending, credit repair, banking, insurance, field sales, or business development will be advantageous. Experience working with taxi operators, taxi associations, SMEs, cooperatives, or community-based clients will be beneficial. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain financial products in simple and practical language. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Self-motivated and target-driven. Good follow-up discipline. Computer literate. Able to use WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets, and CRM or sales reporting tools. Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport will be advantageous. Skills and Competencies Sales and lead generation.
