Introduction A leading company in the fuel, retail, and quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector is seeking to appoint a high-performance Operations Business Manager to oversee a portfolio of sites across KwaZulu-Natal.This senior operational role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to drive performance, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple outlets. Duties & Responsibilities •Achieve and exceed GP% targets across fuel, retail, and QSR categories. •Review budgets weekly and implement corrective actions immediately. •Enforce strict stock, fuel, and cash control measures. •Maintain shrinkage below 1% and fuel variances below 0.5%. •Ensure brand standards, merchandising, and promotional execution are consistently met. •Drive compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards. •Lead, coach, and performance manage Site Managers and Supervisors. Oversee recruitment, training, disciplinary processes, and succession planning Desired Experience & Qualification •5–7 years’ experience in retail operations (fuel/retail/QSR preferred). •Proven ability to manage multiple sites. •Strong financial, stock control, and operational systems knowledge. •Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively. •Computer literate (MS Office & Google Suite).Experience with POS systems / ARCH / WinBranch / AURA / GAAP advantageous. •Strong leadership and team management skills. •Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability. •Effective communication and interpersonal skills. •High level of attention to detail and accountability. •Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. •Customer-focused with a hands-on operational approach.
