EyeQ Security Services is expanding its team and is currently hiring Casual Security Officers for Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts. These positions offer the potential to transition into permanent full-time roles based on performance and operational needs.

Position Overview

As a Casual Security Officer at EyeQ Security Services, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of people, property, and premises. This includes enforcing company policies, monitoring access points, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and supporting daily security operations with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits, conduct regular and extended patrols, and respond to safety or security incidents.Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and criminal activity.Prevent shoplifting in retail environments while providing professional customer service.Complete accurate incident, theft, and violation reports.Patrol assigned properties, control access, and respond appropriately to emergencies.Address inquiries and concerns related to security matters.Work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders to maintain a safe environment.Perform Duty Officer responsibilities and other assigned tasks when required.Act professionally and ethically at all times.Escalate incidents to law enforcement or emergency services as required.Who You Are

Valid and maintainable Provincial Security Guard License.Minimum 1 year of security experience, including experience in high-stress environments.Strong physical fitness suitable for patrol and response duties.Basic understanding of legal rights and law enforcement procedures.Knowledge of CCTV systems, card access systems, and security regulations is an asset.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and on-call schedules.Access to reliable transportation.Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships.Compensation and Benefits
