Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to identify vandalism, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities. Perform routine yard patrols and complete required checkpoint scans to ensure site security. Enforce PPE compliance and ensure all yard safety procedures and regulations are followed.

Manage access control by verifying visitor and vehicle identification before granting entry. Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or potential security threats. Prepare detailed incident and activity reports with accurate documentation of observations.

Conduct regular foot patrols to maintain the safety and security of the premises. Inspect and monitor security systems to identify vulnerabilities or equipment malfunctions. Qualifications for a Surveillance Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid security license First aid certification Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Use MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer systems for reporting and daily operations.

Maintain a professional demeanor in fast-paced environments while interacting with staff, drivers, and visitors. Apply strong communication and de-escalation skills when handling conflicts or sensitive situations. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during serious incidents or emergencies.
