We’re looking for a driven, self-motivated sales professional who thrives on winning new business and building long-term client relationships. This role is perfect for someone who loves the chase, identifying prospects, opening doors, and closing deals. You’ll focus on developing new business, with open territory and unlimited earning potential. What You’ll Do... Establishes and maintains client contacts and develops sales strategy. Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned clientele and develop a deep understanding of customer needs and long-term business strategies. Constant communication with clients via in-person visits, phone and e-mail to strengthen existing business ties and generate new revenue opportunities. Negotiate contracts, prepares quotations and proposals for clients. Dissemination of pertinent SOP's and industry Information to operations staff. Interact with all operations and customer service staff (domestic, export, and Import) to ensure completion of activities and a cohesive team environment. Augment resolution of any problems, concerns, etc. that develop with clients, vendors and operations. Assist with and coordinate client education seminars. Accurate and timely utilization of Priority’s CRM and Operations system to manage client relationships, pipelines and opportunities. Weekly attendance of solos, management, and/or operational meetings as requested/needed, including preparation of reports for management. Participation in development of relative marketing materials, tradeshow displays, etc. Travel as needed to develop, secure and maintain target business. Market research to identify new clients and to expand business with existing clients in identified markets. Identification of new business opportunities that will contribute to personal/company growth based on market feedback/research. What You Bring... Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding sales. Proven track record of business development success hunter mindset required. Strong ability to identify opportunities, negotiate, and close complex deals. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Experience with CargoWise a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Candidates must be currently based in the United States; this role does not offer relocation or visa sponsorship. Benefits and Compensation Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons Base Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience) Commission: get paid for the lifetime of your accounts—no caps, no house accounts.
