Role and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Team Member, you will support Lowe's supply chain operations by efficiently managing incoming and outgoing merchandise. The role is primarily focused on the Receiving department, handling tasks such as picking, pulling, labeling, and stocking purchase orders. This position requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate equipment safely.
Operate power equipment, such as forklifts, to unload deliveries and arrange products in storage areas.Accurately receive purchase orders, inspecting for damages and verifying details against invoices or packing slips.Select products from warehouse shelves according to item number, size, color, and quantity.Pack and stage orders for shipment.Confirm the accuracy of items picked and staged by other associates.Achieve performance goals by completing tasks efficiently and accurately.Assist with various warehouse activities, including labeling, shipping, pulling, and supporting deliveries.Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent.1-2 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.Physical ability to move throughout the facility, lift up to 40 pounds, and operate power equipment.Commitment to safety practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Willingness to work in diverse conditions, including extreme temperatures and noisy environments.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating power equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or yard trucks.Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced setting.Strong spatial awareness for efficient organization of products.Compensation and Benefits:
