About the Role We are looking for a vigilant and professional Retail Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of customers, staff, and store property. You will help prevent theft, reduce loss, and provide a welcoming presence for all visitors. We have 2 vacancies available -part time and full time, but need someone who can start ASAP Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner while maintaining strong situational awareness. Monitor store premises to identify suspicious behavior and potential theft or safety risks. Prevent and deter shoplifting and other forms of loss through visible presence and proactive engagement. Conduct regular floor patrols and CCTV monitoring (if applicable). Liaise with store management and law enforcement when required. Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports. Support store staff in managing difficult or disruptive individuals calmly and professionally. Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a security officer in a retail environment. Strong observation and communication skills. Ability to stay alert and focused in a busy retail setting. Professional, approachable, and customer-service oriented demeanor. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts (including weekends). Valid Security License / SIA License.
