Job Advert Summary The Picker role is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing stock for distribution in a high-volume warehouse environment in Bloemfontein. The role requires strong physical ability, as the employee will continuously lift and move stock weighing between 12 kilograms and 20 kilograms as part of a team handling approximately 20 tons of stock per day. Work is performed in cold storage conditions of up to minus 28 degrees Celsius, following structured cycles inside and outside the freezer. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strict operational demands and time-sensitive targets. Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 Physical ability to lift and move stock weighing between 12 - 20 kilograms continuously

Be able to work overtime

Be able to work in freezer conditions (minus 28 degrees Celcius)

Experience of working in a fast-moving consumer goods warehouse or distribution environment is preferred Mathematical skills Fluent in English Reliability, Teamwork, and willingness to work scheduled hours, including occasional weekends

Duties and Responsibilities

Selection and retrieval of stock according to picking lists

Moving through warehouse aisles, identifying correct products, and placing them in designated areas for packing and dispatch

Handling of stock in a high-volume environment Maintaining picking accuracy Maintaining basic housekeeping standards in the picking areas
