As a Security Officer Entry Screening Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will help monitor access, observe activity, and support security-related protocols while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.16 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat05:00 PM - 01:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the location, verify credentials and authorizations, and report discrepancies according to site policies.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.Complete required logs, screening records, and incident documentation, and support security-related operations with clear communication and professional presence. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.Be at least 21 years of age.Alarm panel experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
