Learn the technical aspects, standardization, take care of the operation of your equipment – truck - trailer, work safely, communicate clearly and work together as a team, be on time, and demonstrate leadership capability and you will advance quickly with CP+R. Growth Opportunity - If you attain the proper technical capability and show yourself as a leader within the company, you can quickly advance to Crew Leader within 3-4 months. Crew Leaders receive a 30% pay increase! Job Summary: This is a labor-intensive construction related position that operates on a per project basis and requires overnight travel while being deployed for approximately 3-4 weeks with 1 week off upon return. This position is a construction manual labor trade with advanced technical aspects that must eventually be mastered to be successful. In this role you will be operating heavy equipment, hand grinders, and polishing equipment as well as driving CP+R truck and trailer equipment (Commercial Driving License not required). You will be DEPLOYED FOR APPROXIMATELY 3+ WEEKS ON THE ROAD WITH 1 WEEK OFF UPON RETURN. Training will be provided for all new employees in order to ensure safe operations, familiarity with all polishing and related equipment + maintenance, hand grinding techniques, and driving/loading/standardization of truck and trailer. · Visits new assignments/jobs with CP+R Team and interfaces with the client. · Scopes the site with Crew Team and prepares floor for proper application. · Operates heavy machinery, hand grinders, and other polishing equipment safely. · Performs polishing and grinding techniques to CP+R and Customer standards. · Responsible for proper set up for polishing machines and support equipment as well as standardized operational maintenance checks and feedback for required maintenance. · Provides documented job and expense reports on all operations and submits for approval. · Operates Truck and Trailer safely from job to job with appropriate preflight, in flight, and return inspections. · Completes projects in a timely manner according to the specifications of each job. · Completes required safety, technical, and operational training initially upon hire and ongoing.
