The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in the stone industry, particularly with forklifts equipped with clamp and boom attachments. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate forklifts with clamp and boom attachments to transport, load, unload, and store large, heavy slabs of granite, marble, and stone. Ensure the proper handling of delicate stone materials to prevent damage. Move slabs of stone, marble, and granite throughout the warehouse, yard, and job site, ensuring they are stored correctly and securely. Work in collaboration with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of materials to the production areas. Inspect forklifts regularly to ensure they are in good working condition, performing minor maintenance when necessary. Adhere to all safety regulations, protocols, and company policies while operating the forklift and handling materials. Maintain an organized work area, ensuring safe access to all stone slabs and equipment. Assist in other warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and preparing shipments. Requirements: Proven experience operating forklifts in the stone, marble, or granite industry. Extensive experience using forklifts with clamp and boom attachments. Strong understanding of the unique requirements of handling large, heavy, and fragile stone materials. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, sometimes requiring assistance from a team. Valid forklift certification. Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
