General Duties: Secure facility and property through observation and inspections; monitor surveillance equipment; monitor access control points; permit or deny entry to premises. Alert help by sounding facility alarms. Prevent losses and damage; report irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain trespassers. Control traffic by directing drivers. Write reports and maintain activity log; record observations, information, and surveillance activity; interview witnesses. Ensure safety and security of the facility and personnel through access control and screening and divesting procedures Conduct self in professional manner; lend credibility to client site; be courteous and uplifting; bring people together by being neutral and understanding of people from diverse background. Comply with all legal requirements. Contributes to team synergy by communicating, deconflicting, sharing ideas, and complementing efforts. De-escalate volatile situations; Protect the most vulnerable from threats (physical and non-physical); Contribute to safe and secure work environment. Project peace.
