Summary The Consumer Loan Platform Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the strategy, management, and performance of the bank’s consumer loan platforms, including personal loans, auto loans, credit cards, and home equity products. This role ensures that all consumer lending activities align with the bank’s financial goals, risk appetite, regulatory requirements, and service standards. This position works closely with senior leadership, compliance, credit risk, operations, and branch teams to drive growth while maintaining strong portfolio quality and regulatory compliance. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all consumer loan products and processes comply with applicable federal and state regulations (e.g., TILA, ECOA, FCRA, Fair Lending, UDAAP) Partner with credit risk and compliance teams to establish and maintain sound lending policies and procedures. Support internal and external audits, examinations, and reviews, ensuring timely remediation of findings Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance and regulatory updates affecting consumer lending. Collaborate with operations and branch management to ensure efficient loan origination, processing, and servicing. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and improve turnaround times. Oversee vendor and system partnerships related to consumer loan origination and servicing. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, analysts, or lending specialists. Provide regular reporting to executive management on portfolio trends, risks, and opportunities. Partners with the business units in order help drive marketing and financial goals with consumer loans. Qualifications Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). High School Diploma Microsoft Suite Products. Knowledge of Consumer Loan Origination Systems is preferred Minimum Experience 7+ years of progressive experience in retail/consumer lending, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. One to three years of experience in customer service and consumer lending Strong knowledge of consumer lending products, credit policy, pricing, and regulatory compliance. Proven track record of managing loan portfolios within a traditional banking environment. Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Experience working with loan origination systems and core banking platforms.
