Judson Park in Des Moines, WA, a HumanGood community nationally rated as Best Independent Living and Best Memory Care of 2025-2026 by U.S News & World Report, is looking for a passionate weekend Community Response Office to join our team! Part-Time Schedule: Shifts: Saturdays & Sundays 3:30pm to 11:30pm Salary Range : $22.00 to $25.00 depending on experience Under general supervision, the Security Officer promotes and maintains a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, team members and community. Provides general security in the buildings and surrounding areas of the community according to the established standards and within the assigned areas of responsibility. Job Duties: Patrol halls and grounds of community on a regular basis throughout shift according to standard procedure in order to detect unauthorized activities; Ensure that the community and grounds are secure by monitoring surveillance equipment; Check exit doors for compliance with locking procedures. Provide high visibility and presence to assure residents of caution and care. Interact with residents and resident family members and assist with simple tasks where possible. Respond to resident emergency alerts along with nurse team Document any unusual or incorrect findings, complete incident reports as needed. Respond to emergency phone according to procedure; Confronts unauthorized and/or undesirable persons and follows procedure as required; Assist with afternoon package delivery Follow procedure for emergency including aiding and directing emergency vehicles and personnel as needed; Troubleshoot basic facility problems as needed (ex: replace low batteries in smoke detectors) Direct and assist team members as needed; Completes regularly scheduled inspections of facility; Ensures that safety hazards are removed or corrected as needed; Other job duties, as assigned. To be successful in this role, you would have: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Prior security guard experience (required) Customer service experience (required) What's in it for you?
