Job Overview We are looking for an early morning person, who is able to drive a van (with attached trailer) from our farm (Mooreland, IN) to the Carmel Farmers Market (Saturday mornings, May 2nd to September 26th) . Once at the market, you would set-up the tents, tables, and display. You would be joined by another staff member shortly before the market begins, and together, during market hours, you would assist customers, re-stock items, keep our area tidy, and any other related duties. Duties Safely drive a cargo van with attached trailer to and from the farmers market, ensuring on-time arrivals and set-up for the day Load and unload market supplies, including tents, tent weights, tables, coolers of product, etc. Assist with setting up market booths, displays, tables, and signage to create an inviting shopping environment Assist with load out at the end of the market day, ensuring all items are properly stored and transported back to the farm Follow travel route efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Provide excellent customer service and represent our farm well by engaging with fellow vendors and customers professionally and courteously Requirements Valid driver’s license and experience maneuvering with a trailer attached. Reliably show up at the farm each Saturday morning at 5 a.m., ready to get started with the day Proven delivery driver experience, especially route driving in busy markets or urban areas Ability to lift and carry bulky items (~40 lb max) Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Physical stamina for standing, lifting, moving equipment, and working outdoors in various weather conditions This role offers a fast-paced work environment.
