Become the Senior Maintenance Mechanic you always wanted to be Safely and effectively tests and operates emergency power supply system (EPSS) and its components. Installs/maintains/repairs mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, oxygen, and telephone systems. Maintains familiarity with state and local codes when performing work. Retains auto, carpentry, phone, pneumatics, stationary engineer, hydraulics, and computer skills. Plans, interprets, examines, draws, and records work; reports daily completion to supervisor. Performs all types of control maintenance within required timeframe. Performs major types of work for building construction and repair within required timeframe. Qualifications Current/valid state driver's license required. HVAC, EPA, electrical, or plumbing licensure required, if applicable by state. High school diploma or trade school education preferred. Training in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, boiler maintenance, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, telecommunication systems, and various other hospital equipment preferred.
