As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Specialist in King Of Prussia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $21.36 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with visitor processing, credential checks, and/or directions as needed.Support site operations by communicating professionally with personnel, following post orders, and completing required logs, reports, and/or other assigned security-related tasks. Minimum Requirements Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.CPR certification is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
