Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a lively, efficient manner Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and swiftly Handle cash transactions, giving correct change and managing cash handling procedures with integrity Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, supporting kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring quick service in a fast food or café environment Follow proper food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines at all times Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food quality during shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow during busy hours Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurants is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for seamless transactions Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or supporting kitchen staff is a plus Basic culinary experience or kitchen background enhances your ability to support food prep tasks effectively Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm fuels great service!
