What You’ll Do You’ll be the heartbeat of our pre-owned department — leading desking, acquisition, pricing, merchandising, and reconditioning efforts to keep our inventory turning and our customers thrilled. Your key responsibilities include: Inventory Management: Maintain the ideal mix of late-model, high-demand vehicles. Appraise trades accurately using vAuto, MMR, KBB, and live market data. Set prices to move vehicles while maximizing gross profit. - Reconditioning & Merchandising : Partner with service and detail teams to ensure every vehicle looks and drives like new. Oversee photo, description, and online merchandising compliance so every car stands out on the lot and on the web. - Acquisition & Buy Center Collaboration : Work directly with the Vehicle Buying Center team to secure fresh, market-ready inventory from trade-ins, service lane leads, and direct purchases. - Customer Engagement: Ability to desk deals and work with F&I to structure a deal profitably. Deliver a transparent, five-star appraisal and trade-in experience. Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and empathy. - Performance & Compliance: Track daily appraisals, monitor recon timelines, and review key department metrics weekly and monthly. Ensure all deals and disclosures meet federal and state regulations.
