Working in the ED with direct shop floor supervision from our 11 consultants and 18 experienced ED middle grades. The post offers protected weekly departmental teaching and benefits from educational supervision by a consultant as well as many other educational opportunities on shift. The team approach is completely embedded in the department and all staff are wholly focused on providing a fast and effective patient service. Responsibilities:Providing direct clinical care to all patientsFormulating a diagnosis and developing a management strategy or plan for each patientProviding patient management in accordance with Emergency Department protocols, practice standards, and Trust policiesProviding clear and precise written and electronic documentation of patient careProviding advice and support to junior doctors on all aspects of emergency medicineParticipating in the current shift rota patternParticipating and leading on clinical auditsTameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust serves a community of 250,000 people across Tameside & Glossop.
