And, they remain the heartbeat of Good Friend.The RoleAs a Farmers Market Ambassador, you are the face of Good Friend in Portland s vibrant market community.This role blends:HospitalityEducationSalesOperationsCommunity-buildingIn this role, you will lead booth setup, connect with customers, share our story, manage inventory, and ensure that every interaction reflects who we are steady, kind, and excellent.Core ResponsibilitiesMarket Operations & HospitalityLead setup and breakdown of market boothEnsure beautiful, organized presentationManage inventory and sales tracking via Shopify POSHandle payments responsiblyMaintain detailed performance recordsCoordinate restocking and communicate inventory needsCommunity BuildingCreate a welcoming and educational environmentBuild relationships with regular customersInform customers where they can find Good Friend locallyRepresent the brand with authenticity and presenceGather insights and feedback from the market communityProduct Knowledge & EducationDevelop deep familiarity with:Nutritional benefits of our ingredientsAllergen information and food safety practicesProper storage and serving suggestionsThe story behind our recipes and sourcingAnswer questions with confidence and care.
