Job Summary We are seeking a professional, vigilant, and customer-service-oriented Security Guard to join our team at our corporate office. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients while protecting company assets and upholding the professional image of Forhill Limited. The Corporate Security Guard will monitor and enforce physical security measures, oversee personnel access control, and ensure the safety of people and property. Responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining surveillance, responding to security incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all individuals within the premises. Qualifications: Strong Interpersonal Skills and excellent Customer Service abilities to interact with clients, employees, and visitors professionally Experience in Physical Security and Private Security operations to ensure the safety of personnel and properties Expertise in Personnel Security and access control measures Good problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively during emergencies Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus Previous experience in a corporate or private security role is preferred Familiarity with security systems such as CCTV and alarm systems is an advantage Key Responsibilities: Control access to the building: screen and verify all visitors, contractors, and employees using proper identification. Issue and manage visitor badges and maintain accurate visitor logs. Conduct regular patrols of the office premises, lobby, parking areas, and common spaces. Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, or disturbances. Enforce company security policies, including bag checks, and prohibited items policy. Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors, giving directions, and assisting employees and guests. Prepare detailed daily activity reports and incident reports. Coordinate with reception to ensure smooth operations. Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or suspicious activities immediately. Assist in emergency evacuation procedures and drills. Maintain professionalism and a neat appearance at all times while in uniform. Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum of SSCE / WAEC or equivalent qualification. At least 1–2 years of experience as a Security Guard, preferably in a corporate office, bank, or similar professional environment. Good physical condition and ability to stand for long periods. Neat and professional appearance with excellent grooming standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Polite, calm, and confident demeanor when dealing with visitors and staff. No criminal record must pass background verification. Ability to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
